Waiting:

This series came to me as I found myself on day thinking about all of the things I was waiting
for and to be honestly completely and utterly frustrated.  I was waiting for a few phone calls,
waiting for a few emails, waiting for a response in any form from others. 

It seemed my life became this huge waiting game.  I then thought about it more… I did not create photography, because I was waiting for a better camera (large format).  I  have not created any Meaningful Passionate Art in a few months, because I was waiting for a better cash flow to happen. 

Then I thought about all the people I met since coming to Los Angeles, CA.  It seems everyone is waiting for that break in his or her career, waiting for that return email that says, “hey you are great!”  They are waiting for the love of their life to walk in the door, they are waiting for their
money to invest well, they are waiting for housing market to hit bottom, they are waiting for a new customer, they are waiting for the next party.

I believe it is an LA Story! The Waiting Game!  I am living in it! I am tired to waiting.  I am calling people back now, and allowing them to stay please stop calling, so far they have not said that!  I am using my camera that I have now, and no longer waiting for a better one.  I am living my life today and no longer waiting for a better tomorrow.  Today I look around and today I have an amazing life! 

I believe that is really it, Being Grateful for Today and not waiting for a Better Tomorrow.

 

Technical Side of this series....

To use whatever light is available at the time of capturing the image. Sometimes I ask the
models to sit very still. It ends up being a whole lot of fun.....

This series will be growing endlessly, until I feel it is complete.
Please do not WAIT for the final piece to start collecting.
