What my photography is all about:

I have always loved photography.  I bought my first professional camera at the age of seventeen after working all summer and saving every penny.   I started taking pictures of all of my friends and was definitely inclined toward portraiture from the get go.

Once I started creating fine art portraits I used my photography as a way to capture a moment that I wanted to create, so that my models would have not to sit for any particular length of time.  It also afforded me total creative freedom with lighting and posing of my subjects.  

As I took more and more photos for my Artwork, I began to really fall back in love with photography for the sake of photography.  Here you will find individual shots of people and pets, along with my series “Waiting”. 

I am also including my photography of my Biblical Masters Recreations.  I started taking those as support images for my art, however the photographs took my breathe away so I wanted to share them with everyone as photography too.
