My models come from all over. I see them on the street, from a website from passing or at a party I might be attending. They come from any and everywhere. The one thing I do know about the people I ask to model for me, there is something there besides looks. I have found amazing stories, life lessons and peeks into their worlds and how they handle life. Each of them are in some way a gift to me and I am grateful for the Musing they offer my talents and me.

I asked you to Model:

If I have asked you to model for me then I would love for you to contact me within three months. As the idea I have contacted you about it simmering in my head and I need to express it. I also found you because this idea I have is so present.

We will be doing a photography shoot that last about one and a half hours. We can do it at my studio or your place. Which ever is more comfortable for you.

I will ask you to sign a model release form. The art of portraiture requires model release forms when the art looks like a person out there in the world. To my own amazement I have over 200 signed model release forms. I have been busy and blessed.

What do you get?

I give 6 to 10 digital lo res images from the photography shoot, typically in black and white for you to use either for your own joy or posting on websites or personal profiles or facebook. Basically anyway you want to use it. Plus, Once the Art is completed I will give you a signed museum quality giclee print. The size depends on the size and shape of the art. I will fit it appropriately on a 13” x 19” fine art matt paper suitable for framing.

 

You asked me to Model:

While I typically much prefer to find my models through life’s pursuits. I am grateful and thankful that people love my art so much that they also would love to offer musing for my art.

As I never know what I am working on and while you might or might not be a fit for my present working series. You never know, and your look might inspire something completely new.

I highly recommend checking out “commissions” but I know not everyone can afford a private commission. However, this is a way to guarantee a piece of work made in your image, plus you get to choose the style, color and overall composition of the piece. It basically allows you to be an art director.

If I inspire something in my work, then I will treat you as above in the “I asked you to Model” area and you will receive the same treatment. Please be patient with an actual response of your inspiration.
