Forbidden Fruit:

This series means so much to me, as it took me well over a year to complete from start to finish.  The canvases are all 4ft x 6ft.  When I made them I could only afford to do one at a time and I had no idea how I would ever complete the entire series. 

The patina finish is about 16 layers of hand rubbed and applied tinted glazes. Giving it an old world feeling.  The base is a Giclee print of my Digital drawing.

The series is about Eve and the Seven Deadly Sins.  Each apple is about a different sin, and I love how innocent she appears.  The Adams are all different last names, the same names of the apples that they hold. (ex. Adam Gala)

Amazing enough you wonder possibly Snow White and the Seven Sins or Dwarves.

This series is my first installation of a Biblical Setting.
