Because the Bible told me so:

Okay not really... but because I have been attracted to Biblical Paintings my whole life. I love the scale of museum pieces and the richness of the oil paint. Evenything about them seems to transport me right to that place and time.

As I age, I find myself seeing many deeper meanings in these works from long ago that so easily adapt to my present day. Two of my strongest images so far, are Jesus coming off the cross, ( it is time to take myself off the cross, and stop being burdened by past mistakes or preceived failures. The other is a painting of David and Goliath, this images strikes me more as a mans struggle with his own ego and ultimately winning.

Very powerful and so many others.. I am very excited about this work. I do not know how big this series will be, I will create them as long as my soul keeps reaching out.
