Amendment:

Amendment –  The act of changing for the better, improvement.

When entering into a relationship, we do this because in many ways it makes our lives better, richer and brings a new level of love into our lives. All of the couples shown in this series met the criteria of being together for longer than one year. Most of them are together for multiple years.

I felt that the one-year bump would allow me to capture Love, instead of Lust.

This series is ultimately my first “Political” series.  As I was watching the news and saw “W” on the television talking about amending the constitution, I was outraged.  I thought to myself, I am not much of a soapbox person or a guy that marches.  So what can I do!  I can Paint!  So the search started and I loved every minute of it.  I felt like I was saving a child from suicide every time I finished one.  This series will always move me.
